comment How to set an option for all sites in my network?
Sorry for not being clear enough. The option I want to change is a classic option, not a network-wide one. It comes from a plugin that I did not write. Want I need it to change the value of that classic option for all sites in my network at once.

Are you able to see the Media using the old list view instead of the new grid view ? To display list view, click the list icon that appears at the top left corner.

comment Add custom objects/entities to Wordpress
You can insert this code either in a plugin or in the functions.php of your theme. And yes, other plugins use this code with a lot of stuff around to have all the options available in the backend UI.
