@brett -Hi,the reason you don't see the link is because those functions don't return a value but echo it. That's why you don't see it in the place you want.You have an option to edit the declarations in link-template.php by adding a new parameter in the end which indicates which action you want to do (return/echo). hope I helped you

I am using the default one tags.php .My navigation bar is blog theme->menu. The solution I found is to actually override the wp-query by using query_posts(array('tag' => $tag,'post_type'=>'any));

I have the same problem - my navigation disappears on the tag pages.I will be very grateful if you find why
