I'm a geek, married to a geek, born of a geek. I love working on WordPress sites and finding cool new stuff on the internets.

Free wordpress slider I love Flexslider and have been using it for a while - long before WooThemes bought it. Great functionality, easy to use and integrate with WP. Great recommendation! |

Specific Post Format Image Thumbnail So is your issue that you don't see that text echoing on the index.php page? or are you lacking the code to display your custom image size? |

Force logged in users to still fill out name/address for commenting? Sure thing, SickHippie, I added a bit of an explanation. After typing that out I'm thinking I may just have to bite the bullet and create individual WordPress accounts for every user (though there will be many thousands)... ugh. Ideas are much appreciated! |

File Upload from frontend Yes, it's not free. I think it's $40 for a one-site license. Well worth it IMO. You could also try the plugin Formidable but I think that's paid too. |

enqueue and localize script in footer Hmm, I was setting it in wp_enqueue_script and it wasn't taking (see above). Only worked when I moved it to wp_register_script. Ah well, just glad it's working. :) |

enqueue and localize script in footer Thank you! Good to know. I'm assuming this means wp_register_script options override wp_enqueue_script options, since you can set it either place? |
