comment Order a WP_Query by meta value where the value is an array
That's not possible. Why not save each meta value with its own meta key? It's not like there are any downsides for doing that. There are, however downsides to saving post meta as an array, and you are experiencing one right now.

comment Custom Post type Query post is not working
A common mistake for me is trying to get post type 'tickets' when they have actually been registered as 'ticket'. Just an idea as to what might be wrong with the code. :)

How are you getting the $current variable? Did you try echoing it out to see what is contains? you could also try removing the 'paged' parameter, just for testing.

comment WP Cron as Fast as WordPress AJAX?
@Kyle Then you should run some checks and log the times for when the event is scheduled, when the task starts and when it ends. My guess is that you will see a huge difference in the time that the task was scheduled and when it starts running. If that's not the case, and the task actually takes that long to complete (vs doing it via AJAX), then it will mean that there's some kind of throttling happening on your server. Unfortunately I haven't ever delved that deep into WP Cron to know if the tasks have some kind of low priority.

Please edit your question to include the code that you use to get the value for $project_type variable.

comment Change pages based on city
Can you elaborate a bit on what exact WordPress issue you are having, what you have tried and what were the results? Are you trying to change parts of the site only on that particular 'city page', or do you want to save the city somewhere and then change the rest of your website based on which 'city page' the user has previously visited? If it's the latter then doing this with pages is probably not the best way.

comment redirect to a users only page after login success
The template_redirect hook is okay - the is_user_logged_in check is appropriate there. It probably has something to do with your domain mapping (are you using a plugin for that?) as I've also tested your code on my Multisite installation and it's working fine as well.
