Get number of widgets in sidebar Thanks. You can also add 'even' and 'odd' classes to the widgets. I did it that way originally, but I removed it because you can do the same with CSS3 selectors (nth-child). Anyway extra options don't hurt. |

Get number of widgets in sidebar Thanks for the answer, but now I realize that what I want can't be done. At least with a method I know... I want to add a class on each widget based on how many of them are on a sidebar. For example if there are 4 widgets I want them to have class x or if they are 3 I want them to have class y etc. This can't be done with simply counting the number of widgets because the class (any class) they get is defined uppon sidebar registering, not drawing. At this point no widgets are set. |

Fall Back Google CDN in JavaScript Good point about caching. I hadn't thought of that. |

Including jQuery and jQuery files the correct way Are you going to make this comment to the others who proposed a method for replacing jquery as well, or just me? There are hundreds of threads here and all around the web. Start commenting there too. I don't see why I get all the comments... |

Including jQuery and jQuery files the correct way It seems you don't get it... You are against doing one thing. This is replacing wordpress' jquery. That's your opinion and it is absolutely respected. But there are some people that want to do it and search for the best method for it. Do you have anything useful to say formy code? Why is it worse (if it is) than the other replacing codes? |

Including jQuery and jQuery files the correct way So, your point is that we should never replace jquery that ships with Wordpress with another version. That's has some base behind it but I doubt if using another version has any real disadvantages. Anyway, I don't get why do you criticize my method? You could say you 're against replacing jquery in general in a separate answer to the original question. All methods-answers here have one purpose: replace the jquery file that comes with wordpress. I just made a better method to do it and you don't criticize my method at all. |
