comment Using previous_post_link and next_post_link to wrap around post sequence
Thanks Vinod! This works fine and I think will work for me in other contexts. Wish the standard versions had wraparound capability.

My problem appears to have been a basic error (WP was reading something in what I thought was commented code). With that removed, URL resolved itself. But your link is great for problems like these, have it bookmarked. Thanks!

Thanks for the reply. Actually, I don't want to remove the Mambo installation just yet, in case of trouble. The method I linked to theoretically allows this, by just changing index and htaccess in root. After I'm sure it's running OK, I'll go back and weed the Mambo out. I did name the "dev" install that way to avoid serialization issues, but hope to avoid database search and replace shenanigans.

I tried testing this but couldn't get post_class to behave. It passed the parameter fine, but for some reason wouldn't output the post class itself. Thank you for the response.

First one didn't work, but the different approach did. I've given the nod to previous poster, but thank you.

Thanks for the suggestion. I came up with a similar ID-based hack, so I guess that's an answer for now. I have actually tested a solution that's non-ID specific and seems to work, which can be found here: modal.us/blog/2011/04/28/… That noted, WordPress really needs to add/generalize this capability, it's just too common a scenario.
