Hi there,

I work with a bunch of nonprofits in Toronto helping with their web work, sometimes paid, sometimes volunteer. While I have a pretty good handle on WordPress basics, I continue to run into things that I have no idea about and apreciate very much having this community to lean on.

Cheers!

comment Make RSS think posts are new?
Oh, I think you've got it. Thanks very much. I didn't realize I could just filter the date in the feed! I'll give it a try.

It only takes posts which are new since the last RSS-to-Email campaign went out, which is what I'm trying to get around, because some posts to be included in the newsletter we might want to have run for several weeks. I want it to take any active post in the newsletter category (so I can just set them to draft when we don't want them to run anymore) and read that as a new item in the RSS feed each week.

I see how that creates a new newsletter feed with manual control over the posts to be included (and their order), but how does this tell MailChimp that these are new posts and not the same posts it sent out last week (which they are of course)?

Wonderful. Many thanks. I have no trouble enforcing that all posts have to be in the child categories (they were anyway).

Thank you dearly. Still so much to learn. That was an enormous help.

Thanks very much, I had forgotten about that. Unfortunately, now it only returns the last entry in the repeater field, so I still have something wrong.
