comment Warning: spl_autoload() [function.spl-autoload] (Term Menu Order)
Regarding the file permission, all permissions for the files under the plugin folder is now set to 755, but the warning remains. Does the problem lie on another part? Or is it a problem caused by the hosting?

Ah yes, I was worried whether this is appropriate to post on Wordpress SE or not... regarding the file permission, all permissions for the files under the plugin folder is now set to 755, but the warning remains. Does the problem lie on another part?

comment Widgets: Show Recent Posts Only if the Posts Have Both Categories X and Y
Hmm, in the end it gets complicated... and I guess I'd go for a cat instead :s Thanks anyway!

comment Widgets: Show Recent Posts Only if the Posts Have Both Categories X and Y
I have just realized that category__and does not display child categories... I guess this is why using category__and shows nothing, because most of all posts are categorized under 594's children, not the category 594 itself... oddly it did show the children when I was experimenting back then though. :| Now I guess my question changes to... how is it possible to make category__and always includes children?

comment Widgets: Show Recent Posts Only if the Posts Have Both Categories X and Y
Hmm... with 'category__and' => explode(',', $category_name), it doesn't show anything at all (the whole widget, including the widget title, seems to be gone)... while I tried with 'category__and' => array(explode(',', $category_name)), it shows posts from the Uncategorized category. :s Should this be put on WP_Query (when querying the post) or on other places?

Both answers seem to work, but I guess I'd choose this as it's easier for me. Thanks a lot, @MridulAggarwal and @Dipa! :)

I feel so incredibly stupid as to WHY DIDN'T I use your function instead of persisting on mine. Once I change my is_category_or_sub to the one you've wrote, it works magically! Really wonderful. I still don't understand though, why is your code working and mine does not? Mostly because of my lack of programming expertise, but if an explanation is allowed I'd really be thankful.

comment Why is the `if else` not working?
@MridulAggarwal Ok, I put it before the first if... it results in a horde of lines. But I manage to understand that the posts being displayed are indeed posts that belong under the hobbynews (or its child) category. So what does this mean?

@MridulAggarwal Erm, sorry... I'm not quite a programmer, so I'm not sure what do you mean by that... In which I'm supposed to write it?

comment Why is the `if else` not working?
@MridulAggarwal when I switch the place, what happens is the same like when I do what kovshenin told me to do. The second one's content shows up on both categories, while the first one's content does not show up.

When I replace it with elseif (false), it reaches the second one. Both the gamenews and hobbynews now display content meant for hobbynews. Ok, I'll edit the question.

comment Why is the `if else` not working?
Yes, I indeed base my code on Valendesign's, however I modified it so it could read the slug. The first elseif (gamenews) works perfectly fine. The only problem lies on the second elseif (hobbynews).

You're right, this is much efficient too... posted my answer in hurry and didn't notice the WP MU part too. +1.

That's too bad. Thanks for the answer. Managed to get a work-around but not sure if it's the best.
