comment Update tags to 10,000+ posts with wpdb?
@krembo99 you mean wp_set_post_tags the problem with this is, each instance of wp_set_post_tags within the loop is generating a query to the database. That's over 10,000 queries. Something i'm trying to avoid.

SQL or wpdb whichever makes the fewest queries to the db. Any chance you can show some code? I'm only able to work with WP_Query get_posts etc.

@TheDeadMedic I have a similar question but i'm registering from a page with a custom template that includes a registration form. The redirect isn't working it's taking me back to the main registration page with message to check my email for the password. Can you take a look at my question please. wordpress.stackexchange.com/questions/130560/…

comment Gravity Forms Salesforce field mapping for custom objects
I actually got this working using a custom function, it gathers information from a custom post type then sends it to salesforce with the SOAP client. I can do the same now with any form system, if you want help send me an email bit.ly/UHR2WS

comment Override a theme's WooCommerce template files with plugin
I'd actually have to do echo do_shortcode() but that wouldn't help my modify the content of form-checkout.php that'd just echo the content right back in that i'm trying to modify.

comment Override a theme's WooCommerce template files with plugin
@MichaelJames I realized that's what was happening. It's not my theme, just one a client is using. There is no default checkout page template. The checkout page's content is loaded from a shortcode.

i'm saying though if I create a child theme of the currently activated theme. Activating the child theme would mean there are no new menu locations or sidebar locations. They would be the same named locations coming from the parent theme template files. This is assuming my child theme simply has a style.css to begin with.

It would be ideal if a child theme is activated to have the settings remain in place.

@s_ha_dum none specific, I was curious if anyone knew of a list of common settings which don't stay set when activating a child theme. Custom menus are an example, if a child them is using a parent theme's settings menu locations etc, it'd be ideal if

Have you added any functions to the new themes functions file? Looks like the output is getting filtered. What plugins are you using to allow them to make changes to their theme?
