WordPress Development Stack Exchange is a question and answer site for WordPress developers and administrators. It's 100% free, no registration required.

I want do divide my wordpress into two scopes. The home would have two (or sometimes more) links.

I then want the permalink structure to be

http://www.wp.example.com/scope/page_or_category_or_post_or_cpt/

A network page would be not the right solution because the two sections should share data and users.

What would be the best way to achieve this using the default wordpress API?

EDIT I thought of using parent and child templates for the static pages. Can wordpress tweak the permalink structure so that the child pages have the title of the parent post in front of it?
