WordPress Development Stack Exchange is a question and answer site for WordPress developers and administrators. It's 100% free, no registration required.

I am a total wordpress n00b, and am having issues understanding how the page security is applied.

I have a page where I want to secure the content, so, in the page editor, I have ticked certain groups as being allowed to access the page under the "Content Permissions" option.

Now, in that page, I have also added a togglebox control using the "Add Items" group in the "Page Option" section.

When I render that page as a user that is not logged in, the page's text is not rendered (as I would expect), but the toggle box is still rendering.

How do I make the page content permissions apply to that toggle box as well?

What Theme are you using? What Plugins are active? The functionality you describe is not part of core WordPress. –  Chip Bennett Apr 22 '13 at 19:43
