I use the Event Manager Plugin, and I'm having a problem with permalinks. When I set "Post name" option, I get "Page not found".

I have an event page: example.com/events/event-1/

This Event page has 3 static sub-pages, one of the URLs is example.com/event-1/about/, example.com/event-1/register/ and so on.

I get 404 error on this page. Why is that?

Looks like the URLs for the static sub-pages should be example.com/events/event-1/about/ and so forth. You seem to be missing the /events segment. –  Pat J Apr 18 '13 at 13:40

When I paste example.com/events/event-1/about/ in url, it redirected to example.com/event-1/about/. How add "events". –  user447487 Apr 18 '13 at 17:16

I don't know how the Event Manager plugin handles its permalinks -- I was only making a guess based on the event page URL provided in the question. (Does that URL -- example.com/events/event-1 -- work?) Have you checked out the plugin's Support forum for assistance? –  Pat J Apr 18 '13 at 18:21

Yes, example.com/events/event-1 works. –  user447487 Apr 19 '13 at 7:02
