In the Edit Media (edit image specifically) box, you can crop, flip, rotate, among other things. On the right sidebar, there is an option to
Apply changes to:
- All images sizes
- All sizes except thumbnail
I have a ton of image sizes available, and in one particular meta box, just want to override one particular size.
Example: Somebody uploads a 2000x1500 image. This automatically creates a 990x620, 654x420 and a 317x200 for me. I want to be able to edit the image, cropping EXACTLY to 654x420 but then to only override that specific size: 654x420. I don't want the original 2000x1500 to be affected, and I don't want the automatically generated 990x620 and 317x200 to be affected. If it helps, my crop options in code form:
add_image_size('grid-1x1', 317, 200, true); add_image_size('grid-2x2', 654, 420, true); add_image_size('grid-3x3', 990, 620, true);
Is this possible?
Furthermore, is there a hook (I searched, couldn't find it) that would allow me to set the image crop aspect ratio and/or selection to some default value?
