I'm considering getting WP Touch Pro since I need a mobile theme. I can't retro fit responsive design into my site, as that would be too costly. Besides, my site is optimized for the desktop experience and I don't want to loose that. However, I need to serve a better experience for mobile users.

Have others had success using WP Touch Pro and see that it is just as good as a responsive design at a fraction of the cost?
