Before updating my Wordpress to version 3.5; I was doing this:

Create new article. Write text inside. Then add image to excerpt part. When I open my main page I see article title, excerpt text and thumbnail image. When I open article's page, I see full text and full size image.

But now, when I open my main page I see excerpt text but full size image. What should I do to fix this?

Edit:

  • I use Coreline theme v1.2. I didn't updated anything except the version of Wordpress. So I guess the cause is core update.
  • I updated core, by the /wp-admin/update-core.php
  • Before core update, when I upload image, thumbnail was automatically created and I was adding the thumbnail to page. Now thumbnail created but not visible in excerpt. Full size image shown.
  • Sorry for ignorance, how can I cut/paste code snippet? Where does it exists? In theme layout?

The question is impossible to answer in its current form and is unlikely to help other users. Can you add more details such as what theme you're using, how you upgraded, and most importantly, the code that displays your excerpt in full – Tom J Nowell Jan 18 at 10:39
