I'm trying to attach some unattached files I've uploaded via the Media menu, but the selection box that appears is empty, that is no posts or pages are presented.

I've tried to deactivate all plugins but to no avail. Anybody ran into a similar problem?

Exactly how are you trying to attach the media? – s_ha_dum Jan 1 at 18:30
the unattached images appear in the library with a link to attach them. The link opens a selection box that should list all the pages and posts, but none appear – Matanya Jan 1 at 18:31

Solved: FileZilla omitted the admin-ajax.php file, when deploying to the remote server. I wonder why it happens...
