I'm trying to replace the title text in the Melville theme with an image. I actually had it in there and working properly for several days and then lost it when I was tinkering with my header.php file and updated it without saving my original. Can someone please help me get it back in there? I can't find the original post online that had instructions on how to do this. Any help is much appreciated.

Where did you get the Melville Theme? We need to see actual code if we are to help provide an answer. – Chip Bennett Dec 18 '12 at 19:54
Also, are you wanting to implement the core Custom Header Image feature, or are you just trying to hard-code an image? – Chip Bennett Dec 18 '12 at 20:02
Chip, I am using V1.0.2 found here: simplethemes.org/melville.php I'm not sure what the core Custom Header Image feature is. I just found how to do it by hand in the header.php on a different forum that seemingly no longer exists. – Gail Dec 18 '12 at 20:21
Oh, I just found what I was looking for by looking for the cached page in Google here: webcache.googleusercontent.com/… I am still interested in knowing what the core Custom Header Image feature is about, if it will help me in the event I change themes in the future. Thanks! – Gail Dec 18 '12 at 20:28
Have a look at the Custom Header Images Codex entry. – Chip Bennett Dec 18 '12 at 20:32
