I'm building a plugin that user can add wordpress tag on the frontend script. How can i do that using $wpdb or something?

This is quite a task, so i have to ask a few questions first. Are you familiar with the WordPress-Ajax functions? afterwards i should not be a big thing to do. Are you aware of the possible spam-issues with a ffunctionality like that? – fischi Nov 15 '12 at 10:14
It will moderated properly and also the users will add tags are my moderators only. Yes I'm aware of the AJAX function. – wpleet Nov 15 '12 at 10:47
