WordPress Answers is a question and answer site for WordPress developers and administrators. It's 100% free, no registration required.

I recently upgraded to WordPress 3.4.2 and noticed a new set of options in the admin called "Custom Types".

  1. Does this CHANGE how we have created custom types in the past?
  2. Is it no longer nec. to CODE custom types explicitly, or can they now be done through the admin interface?
  3. I can find ZERO info on this new section, does anyone have a decent tutorial on HOW to implement Custom Types via the admin panel?

please advise
