WordPress Development Stack Exchange is a question and answer site for WordPress developers and administrators. It's 100% free, no registration required.

I've been trying to find a solution to add extra fields (not only text, but radio-buttons as well) to the registration form, without any luck. I can't believe there's no plug-in currently out there that does this. Or is there ? What's the best way to do this ?

I've tried 'cimy extra user fields' and 'wp user manager', but none of them did the job.

I've marked all correct answers as accepted and it's still at 29%. Maybe it's because most of my questions are related to unexplainable behaviour of my Wordpress theme, lol. –  Mariano Grandioso Sep 20 '12 at 11:16

S2Member offers custom registration fields like radio buttons and drop down boxes I believe. Can also be used for subscription and digital sales as well.

Thanks for the recommendation. I think it's a bit of an overkill to use a 2.5MB plugin for this simple function though. I think I will rather code a custom solution. At least I will get some plug-in development experience :) –  Mariano Grandioso Sep 20 '12 at 15:47
