WordPress Answers is a question and answer site for WordPress developers and administrators. It's 100% free, no registration required.

I've seen various automatic translate plugins for Wordpress site, Google also provides good translate mechanism for any page of your site, but what I need is my site (non-English, 13 static pages) - exactly same content and layout with text being (manually) translated to English - an English version of my site which I can call from any page of my original website.

For example, on my current www.example.com/kontakt contact page I'd have link to English version of same page www.example.com/contact.

How to achive this?

I have, of course, option to make another page with English content, but problem starts with being unable have menu items, tagline and numerous other elements elements translated to English.

Does any plugin that fit this requirements exists?

You should get to know qTranslate it will allow you to input
each page / post (and even widgets & menu if you want to) text separately

Here is a screen shot from the plugin download page: enter image description here

.
The plugin also enable you to embed an image of a language flag where ever you
want in the theme or your sidebar.

WPML is also very nice. But it is not free. I tried the qTranslate plugin for a website, where I got a bug coming up regularly. I found it hard to get support so I got the WPML one, which has a pretty good documentation and a support forum.
