I just upgraded a WordPress MU site from 3.1 to 3.4.1 and now this strange thing has happened.

  • The user makes changes and updates a post.
  • The front page of the blog (and category, tag listings and so on) displays the old version of the post – the way it was before it was changed.
  • When you go to the permalink of the post the correct updated version is displayed.

This behaviour is the same for anonymous as well as logged in users.

yes, I've tried disabling WP Super Cache as well but the problem remains… – Per Sandström Aug 22 '12 at 13:37
This was a memcached issue so it had nothing to do with WordPress. – Per Sandström Aug 27 '12 at 13:45
