I have added a map to my website, however it shows up with two sides of black, so the map is sitting squashed rather than fitting square. I tried to change the width of the iframe, but to no avail. What would I need to change? I'm using bing maps for esthetic reasons [flows with my colour scheme :)]

You should try Stackoverflow or GIS for better help.

I don't have an answer for you but if you're looking for a map that is fully customisable, you can try Leaflet. As for the size of the map, try setting the size of your map container div to the required value using CSS.
