After I activated the meenews plugin the plugin-page is gone and so is the dashboard. I get blank pages there. On the frontend things (includig meenews) still work fine. When I remove the plugin via ftp, backend works again. Weird thing is that I have a copy of the website using the same plugins and there are no problems with the backend after activating meenews. I'm afraid that I messed up with the removing and uploading of meenews (not deactivating plugin before removing) and there for there is some 'rest' left in the database somehow and now causing this error. What to do? Need the Meenews plugin working.

Close-voted as too localized. This is likely either a problem with the Plugin itself, or an issue with your particular hosting setup/configuration (memory limits, etc.) if you notice it on one install, but not on another. – Chip Bennett Aug 20 '12 at 16:07
