I have recently installed a theme, but I can't figure out how it's content slider is working.

Link to the Theme Prospect.

  1. What I want is to appear the Slider, but I can't.
  2. And my another question is how to add Text Widget before the post title.
  3. How do I hide the date and other meta data from the posts (for e.g. "(Post Date, on AUGUST 2, 2012 By ADMIN In UNCATEGORIZED COMMENTS OFF)".
  4. How to hide the Read More Button.

Please see this image to know what i wanna do.

I find the solutions! Search the options "Model" in Page configuration and set options with "Home Shortcodes with Slider".

if you don't find the options, contact my by my blog: http://www.jpandrade.com.br

My blog is portuguese, however can write in English!

Please always leave a complete solution as answer. "contact by my blog" is nice, but doesn't help anyone quickly. – kaiser Sep 30 '12 at 21:15

I can see from source of the "Prospect" Theme, that it appears to use the javascript/jQuery based image slider code "NivoSlider".

Help and FAQ and video tutorials can be found here: Support and Usage.

The $19 Paid version of Nivoslider plugin for wordpress with support might be an option for you.

Also your web browser and web hosting setup are important factors to understand.

Nivoslider lists requirements as:

For the jQuery plugin, you need to use jQuery v1.4+ and a compatible browser (Internet Explorer v7+, Firefox v3+, Google Chrome v4+, Safari v4+, Opera v10+).

For the WordPress plugin you need to be running WordPress v3.0+ with PHP 5.2+ and PHP GD.
