Does anyone know of a good (low overhead) plug-in for BuddyPress that can be used to apply tags to member profiles?

I had wondered how to do that as well and haven't really ever found a function to do that specifically with WordPress tags. But then it occurred to me that searching through the BuddyPress members directory might be at least just as good. My solution basically builds a custom search string. You can find it here at pastebin. I hope you find this helpful. It's easy to implement. It's lightweight. It requires no plugin. Just add it to your theme. |
