With my locally created WP theme i used the wrong category for some posts, so i changed it to another one. Everything worked ok. But on my testing website it gives me a 404 page not found. i just moved some posts from category our-products to category products.

i also edited category.php with

elseif (is_category('our-products') || is_category('products')):
            get_template_part('loop', 'products');

mydomain.com/products just gives a 404 mydomain.com/our-products gives the posts not yet moved

How do i fix this??

[edit] i already did the setting permalink trick by going to default and save. And made my custom settings again: /%category%/%postname%-%post_id%/ [edit] i renamed the WP's original uncategorized to products could this be the cause?

OK, thanks to @the Z man Cause: I had a page called Products sitting in the trash bin. By deleting the page products, the category products works as expected. – alex Mar 6 '12 at 19:10
