WordPress Development Stack Exchange is a question and answer site for WordPress developers and administrators. It's 100% free, no registration required.

I have two widgets in my sidebar, a jQuery vertical menu and an image handler.

I need to disable the jQuery widget on my contact page (or hide it or something like this), so that it wont be shown.

How can I do this please?

The Widget Context plugin does this by tacking a block of settings onto the bottom of each widget's box. The options are a bit involved, so you should just look at the screenshot for a feel of whether it can take care of your particular requirements.

Unfortunately, it seems not to be compatible with my wordpress version (3.3.1). Thanx anyway :) –  Malloc Feb 23 '12 at 10:09

Odd. It works for me, despite the compatibility version listed on the plugin page; those are often way out of date. Did you actually try it, or just go by that? The other one Rutwick brought up is more recent, anyway, but also takes a slightly different approach. –  Su' Feb 23 '12 at 20:24

There are some plugins that will allow you to do so. But if you prefer total control over the code, then this post should help you.
