We have a Wordpress blog (running on Centos) where we need content to available instantly to Google Reader. I was looking at PushPress plugin for wordpress. I downloaded, installed and started testing this but haven't had any luck in making it work. I understand we don't need a hub as pushpress makes the blog server as the hub itself. I don't see any thing on the logs to see if a push is happening from our blog server and suspect there is a change needed somewhere to see results.
