wordpress suggests permalinks as I write the title of the post. As a german user, I have some non-latin characters like ÄÖÜß etc. I installed the latest hack to get them to work. Sadly it just works if I'm quicker than the permalink-auto-suggestion. Then it converts ä to ae and stuff. But the auto-suggestion of worpdress converts them like this: http://d.pr/Uc2M (Screenshot). I tried every plugin but this keeps happening. Is it possible to deactivate it? This would solve the problem as well.

Thanks!

I think there is some plugin active that touches your sample permalink. Deactivate all plugins, install Germanix URL, and look what happens.

I found the problem. WP Multilanguage kills all the permalinks... :-( No fix yet – Julius Koroll Feb 3 '12 at 16:06
URL to the plugin? – toscho Feb 3 '12 at 16:53
