I am developing an e-commerce site using wordpress. This would be for a small print shop. There are products they are offering such as business cards or flyers.

When a user selects the business cards product, there are many options to customize it. For example the size, if it is bw or color, has print on both side etc. All these options are changing the final price.

I am looking for a plugin or theme that can do this kind of configuration and it is possible to customize these options for products or product types.

I did some more research and learned that this feature is called product variations and also validated that woocommerce and e-commerce supports it. – gyurisc Nov 10 '11 at 14:13

Dude seriously? For once an article of yours actually fits the question, but quit spamming and farming for backlinks! – Johannes Pille Nov 10 '11 at 13:11
I would tolerate the link to the article in the answer, if there would be links to the actual plugins as well. – gyurisc Nov 10 '11 at 14:11
Added the missing links to those plugins.... – gyurisc Nov 10 '11 at 14:15

@gyurisc So would I. This link fits your question, sort of, at least. The (new) user Brad posted 3 answers to different questions yesterday. All were in the same fashion, i.e. a link to his (!) site and nothing else. In the other two cases, the articles linked were completely unrelated to the initial question. Your question was the third I saw. Hence the "for once it at least fits". – Johannes Pille Nov 12 '11 at 9:57
@JohannesPille Thanks for clarifying this for me! It is sad to see this, only with a litte effort - writing an article on his site - that answers my question and the link would be welcome! Should we do something about this link? – gyurisc Nov 13 '11 at 19:44
