I have just set up my WP blog on heroku and have one minor problem. I have set the permalink structure in Settings to be postname (/%postname%/). Whenever I come back to the blog after a while I get an error for root.com/blog and all other simple pages I have set up.

Going back and hit on save in the permalink settings, gets the links back to work again. So something is not saving these settings right. Instead of postname, it uses the default settings which is probably something like ?p=123

What can I do? Is there a way I could force these settings through a function or similar?

Thanks for all the suggestions. Appreciate it.
