Had some issues with separators not being added, it was due to the way wordpress removes duplicate separators. Adding |

It's a little hard to determine what you're trying to do, but I think you're looking to add a top-level entry in the WordPress admin menu. See this documentation in the WordPress Codex. In short, you're looking for usage of the Hope I got it right. :-) |
