Looking for some resources on how to remove an item from the quick edit screen for a certain taxonomy. Anyone point me in the right direction?

More clarification would be helpful, taxonomy screens do not have a post tags textarea, because taxonomies don't have their own taxonomies(post types have taxonomies). Are you referring to a removing a non-hierarchal taxonomy textarea from the quick edit area of a specific post type? – t31os Aug 16 '11 at 11:46
oops my nomenclature is off.... Looking to kill the textarea for 'tags' (or in the case tax terms) when you click 'quick edit' on the custom post type listing page and only on that cpt. – Peter Gibbons Aug 23 '11 at 15:27
