WordPress Answers is a question and answer site for WordPress developers and administrators. It's 100% free, no registration required.

One of the sites I currently maintain have approximately 2000 individual pages, broken down into departments and other such categories. Some of these pages contain "dynamic" content, such as a list of documents that are updated or added to on a monthly basis.

We're thinking of migrating to WordPress for this site, but I'm trying to track down a list of sites that are serving the capacity of documents/information that we currently are to see how they do it, and maybe look at any plugins/themes they are running.

Is there a list or does anybody know of sites at that capacity?

wordpress.org/showcase/flavor/wordpress-org Can always cruise through these examples too, to see some bigger companies running WP (I'm sure you knew that, but just in case....) – Rev. Voodoo Apr 18 '11 at 18:41

Off the top of my head:

I'm sure there are many more I haven't thought of, I remember seeing several other magazine-style websites that looked very Wordpress-y.

An easy way to check if a site is running WordPress (besides looking at the source, I suppose), is to type "/wp-admin" after the root URL. If they haven't customized their HTTP configuration, that should take you to a WordPress login screen.

Spotify.com runs on a heavily modified Wordpress backend.
