I've recently changed host and was required to move my aMember folder under http://example.org/wp-content/amember - whereas before it as in http://example.org/amember. Since then I cannot login as an admin to amember unless I am first logged into the WP panel. Regular amember users do not experience that issue.

When I try to login to amember it doesn't yield an error and if I then login to WP and go and reload the amember login page again it shows me as logged in. So I think perhaps some rewrite/redirect thing going on. Since it doesn't happen to regular user I think it may be finding "admin" or something in the path and locking it but not sure where WP does that. I don't seem to have anything unusual in my base .htaccess not is there one in wp-content.

Anyone have an idea what is going on?

So it's just third party software sitting in that folder? WP shouldn't really interfere with it. Very hard to guess anything from this little information, you migt be better of starting with amember support or something. – Rarst May 19 '14 at 16:51
Ya I contacted them but they and I seem to think it's WP related. Adding more notes in my question – Yashua May 19 '14 at 17:13
