WordPress Development Stack Exchange is a question and answer site for WordPress developers and administrators. It's 100% free, no registration required.

I have a specific problem with some plugins working with each other.

I use Rss Post Importer to import my feed from Audioboo as posts on my site.

These are then shared to Facebook using SharePress (which shares everything), which worked fine, until I installed W3 Total Cache, and now I'm getting apostrophes, spaces and commas showing up as #codes and bizarre characters.

Has anyone had any experience of this?

This sounds like a character encoding issue. Your plugin may even have a setting for this to specify UTF-8 (WP Super Cache does). This may also help: http://wordpress.org/support/topic/utf-8-encoding-problem and http://wordpress.org/support/topic/w3-total-cache-cached-files-output-with-bizarre-encoding
