I am building a directory with GF + Directory addon (lovely)

However, one glitch: I am creating the user accounts and the form entires to begin with - so a user that logs into their account later to edit their entry will not see their entry (when using the directory addon shortcode) because their user account did not create the entry.

I need the user account I create to be associated with an entry I create - I dont want to have to login as each user to create the entries. I want to create them as Admin and assin them to a user account.

The best way I can think to do this is to have an Admin only field in the form that allows me to select a WP user to be the creator/owner of the entry.

I imagine using a dropdown pre-populated with the WP users.

How to do this ?

Will it actually work ?

Is there a better way to achieve what I am trying to do ?

thanks a lot

Joe
