WordPress Development Stack Exchange is a question and answer site for WordPress developers and administrators. It's 100% free, no registration required.

In my WordPress site I need a "log-in" and "register" section in the sidebar area so that logged in member can only view "memberlist" menu item in the navigation menu. Unregistered members or not logged in users should not be able to see that menu in the navigation menu. I can make this functionality using a plugin,

but the problem is :-

All the log in section plugins available now depends on the WordPress admin credentials. I don't want my members to access the dashboard section using their credentials (means in my site there will be so many members so I don't want them to access the wp-admin section with their credentials).

That's why I need a completely separate log in section. Is it possible in WordPress ? I've searched Google for a help but I can't find an answer. Even the plugin I mentioned above for hiding menu item also uses wp-admin credentials.
