WordPress Development Stack Exchange is a question and answer site for WordPress developers and administrators. It's 100% free, no registration required.

I am looking to create a button within the post or a custom post type admin portion of my WordPress site, that would act similar to a "View Post" button, except it would take the admin user to a custom print template version of the post. I have included a screenshot to help illustrate the solution I am looking for. (This is photoshopped, and in no way in my current system. Hopefully that is where some community guidance can come in. )

I should clarify as well. I am actually looking to "Print off" as in physical ink printer, the post in the end (but I am hoping that I can take care of that information with the custom template)

Thanks for any help!

Research So Far:

I have done a great deal of googleing as it were. Right now, I am attempting to just develop a solution wherein I lauch to a custom template using the WP Print Friendly plugin. This would only work from the front end, adding a few extra clicks for my client. Ideally, a button from the admin would just launch the post within a custom template.
