WordPress Development Stack Exchange is a question and answer site for WordPress developers and administrators. It's 100% free, no registration required.

A registered user clicks a link in a Custom Page inside the Wordpress Dashboard, redirects to a third party website, he completes the action, the third party websites returns to another page inside the Dashboard and a POSTBACK data with UserID and other details are posted to a Postback.php file.

Now, how do i integrate the postback.php inside the Wordpress so that i can update those data in the database for the corresponding logged in user.

I searched in Google. Link: http://davidwalsh.name/wordpress-recent-posts

Is it okay if i add include('wp-load.php'); in the generic postback.php file where i can load wordpress functions and mysql queries which updates the database outside wordpress?
