WordPress Development Stack Exchange is a question and answer site for WordPress developers and administrators. It's 100% free, no registration required.

I have this custom search url example.com/find?q=foo that I respond to by hooking into parse_request, but when, for example, echo some test phrase, WP still continues to parse that request and eventually throw 404 along with my echoed text.

How can I stop WP from doing any sort of parsing on that specific url and instead do my custom handling and return my own template from plugin folder?
