WordPress Development Stack Exchange is a question and answer site for WordPress developers and administrators. It's 100% free, no registration required.

I'm trying to create 3 sites in one wp-admin basically, but they all have different domains and can cross reference each other (to form relationships via taxonomies, etc).

Each site has it's own distinct post types, but they share taxonomies, share media, etc, so I was thinking of making a custom taxonomy for the site it belongs to. Is it possible to use different domains per taxonomy?

So if I had a custom taxonomy called "Site", and three terms, "test", "testlobby" and "testarchive", could I make all posts/pages/custom post type posts that have a certain taxonomy show up on the respective domains for each term?

Is there a better way to handle this if I want to cross polinate this much data?
