WordPress Development Stack Exchange is a question and answer site for WordPress developers and administrators. It's 100% free, no registration required.

I ran into the dreaded php input limit but for some reason my host doesn't respect the php.ini or other settings.

My only alternative is adding another custom menu from within a menu.

Don't ask why I have this much menus. I'm a dev, not the designer. And revising the contents is out of the question.

---CURRENT MENU----
HOME
PRODUCTS
 |->Listings of over 80 items
SERVICES
 |->Listings of over 30 services
LOCATIONS
 |->Listings of over 10 items
ABOUT US
CONTACT US
-------------------

This setup has choked the menu and caused subsequent menus to display nothing.

Now here's how I want it to turn out.

---ENVISIONED MENU---
HOME
PRODUCTS
 |-> [initialized menu, has its own display options]
SERVICES
 |-> [initialized menu, has its own display options]
LOCATIONS
 |-> [initialized menu, has its own display options]
ABOUT US
CONTACT US

The initialized menu is the same thing as you would define in functions.php In the envisioned setup, I can define what goes in PRODUCTS in its own menu options page, and the same would be true for the others.

NOTE: I want to define my own entries in these initialized menus, no page childs, structured categories or whichever.

Before I try to type out my own codes, is there any code that does pretty much this thing?
