WordPress Development Stack Exchange is a question and answer site for WordPress developers and administrators. It's 100% free, no registration required.

On my WordPress blog I'd like to show pictures in every view (e.g. category-view, tag-view, comment-view, single-view) but in the most of this views, I can't see them, and if so, only the main-picture.

This is my blog. Images should be shown in most of the posts on the second, third and fourth page, and also if you click on "weiterlesen", it will let you enter into the full-view.

I'm using WordPress 3.6.1 with the theme "attitude-free", so all of my page-template.php's looks like these:

<?php
/**
 * Template Name: Blog Full Content Display
 *
 * Displays the Blog with Full Content Display.
 *
 * @package Theme Horse
 * @subpackage Attitude
 * @since Attitude 1.0
 */
?>

<?php get_header(); ?>

<?php
/**
 * attitude_before_main_container hook
 */
do_action( 'attitude_before_main_container' );
?>

<div id="container">
<?php
/**
 * attitude_main_container hook
 *
 * HOOKED_FUNCTION_NAME PRIORITY
 *
 * attitude_content 10
 */
do_action( 'attitude_main_container' );
?>
</div><!-- #container -->

<?php
/**
 * attitude_after_main_container hook
 */
do_action( 'attitude_after_main_container' );
?>

<?php get_footer(); ?>

in /site/wwwroot/wp-content/themes/attitude/libary/structure/ i found the content-extensions.php which seems to me, be the file i need to manipulate, may these be possible?

i replaced all the_excerpt with the_content, now the all kind of pictures are shown in category-view, wich is great. but still in comment-view there are no images, where do i need to change this?

and not even this, the article is shown in full size an also embeded youtube-videos are shown.

oh sorry i just check the site have you set the feature image for post so you can change that from wordpress posts when edit right bottom there is option for set feature image every time you create picture you need to set feature image to show image for that post –  Vikas Gautam Sep 18 '13 at 9:45

with main-image i meant feature-image, but even the feature-image is not shown when i enter the full-post-view. btw. i found in /site/wwwroot/wp-admin/includes/ a file called template.php - could it be i need to do changes inside here? to see what i mean: click on "Weiterlese" for full-post-view –  Raymond Osterbrink Sep 18 '13 at 9:48

no these are core files no need to change these it will effect your site and it my damage all the site processing you need to follow the path wp-content themes and you active theme folder in that folder if you able to find sigle.php or any other file you can try changes on that but it will apply to all the post single pages best way if you are not familiar with code then hire a skilled develper for this task beacuse wrong code may spot the website . –  Vikas Gautam Sep 18 '13 at 9:51
