What do you mean by custom post? You can create custom post type using codex.wordpress.org/Function_Reference/register_post_type – Vinod Dalvi Sep 6 '13 at 9:01
I guess mathan is talking about page templates instead of custom post types. Mathan, you should check out some basic Wordpress theme building tutorials... codex also gets you started codex.wordpress.org/Template_Hierarchy codex.wordpress.org/Page_Templates – jounileander Sep 6 '13 at 9:37

You can use this Custom Post Type Generator with Custom Fields , Once you finish you will be given some generated codes add them to functions.php.

Hope this Works for you.

Go to this link to create your Custom Post Type. http://themergency.com/generators/wordpress-custom-post-types/

You can create custom post type as like,

add_action( 'init', 'create_post_type' );
function create_post_type() {
    register_post_type( 'acme_product',
            'labels' => array(
                'name' => __( 'Products' ),
                'singular_name' => __( 'Product' )
        'public' => true,
        'has_archive' => true,

Include this function in your_theme/functions.php file. You can modify and improve it as per requirement. There is a nice official documentation describing how to create custom post types: http://codex.wordpress.org/Post_Types
