WordPress Development Stack Exchange is a question and answer site for WordPress developers and administrators. It's 100% free, no registration required.

I have attempted to make it so that users can register on my site as follows:

www.domain.com/register

I have done this by adding the following line to my .htaccess file:

RewriteRule ^register/?$ /wp-signup.php [QSA,L]

It works initially, but when the user clicks a button that takes them to wp-login (register, lost password, or an incorrect username), then the page reloads as wp-login.php - is there someway of fixing this using rewrite rules?
